Scratching memory

Drawings “Scratching memory” were created for the album “Polish female comics, double portrait”, issued by Centrala. The theme was autobiographical. I chose the memories from my childhood, when I lived in the countryside, where the world of rural life, death, and staying in contact with nature coexisted in a very obvious and tangible way. I used the lines characteristic for children’s drawings. Looking for some memories to hold onto, I started by drawing my own portrait of when I was two years old.
